Equal opportunities
Ensuring gender equality in the water sector is aimed at expanding women’s participation in sector management and decision-making, creating opportunities for their professional development, and strengthening their role and engagement in the sector.
To this end, the Gender Concept of the Water Sector of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2025–2030 has been developed. The Concept aims to promote the broad implementation of gender equality principles across the water sector, increase women’s participation and engagement, and create equal professional opportunities for them.
